That is frustrating that the user lookup tool is locked because it was being broken, but I was able to get the link to the spreadsheet where you can manually look it up. I couldn't remember how many shares I had, but I was able to figure it out!
If you have a google account, you can also make a copy of the new lookup tool and still use it.
