A small clearing comes
Last year in mid October, a quick look out the window as we drive by the small reflection lake beside the road, and had camera in hand. It was a pretty overcast day most of the day, but in the distance there was a clearing coming soon, so that meant it would be a cold night, no insulating blanket of clouds.

We are kind of lucky where we live, we do not get real big thunderstorms, not enough real temperature difference, we do get small ones though, and the lightening can be pretty spectacular when we do get them, but not often at all which is fine be me.
