The amount you get is dependent on your reputation and gets higher in steps of 10. Actually you got $40 USD worth in Bytes (50% instant and 50% locked in a smart contract for a year). Since you already attested your account there is no way to increase that but you just recently got rep 50.
They changed it :( only 25% is liquid, the rest is locked on a smart contract :((

No I didn't, I've been aware of the airdrop when I curated posts on @steemph.manila. I just had the effort to participate when I saw you replied on someone's comment on this post that there's no need for a sponsor.

Yeah they got rid of the attestation fee so nobody needs to send you any bytes any more but you can still support a fellow Steemian by useing his referral link since its basically the same for you (classic win-win-scenario)
