Wow, panning for gold and metal detecting and dry washing for gold in the beautiful American desert with perfect weather, a whole bunch of good and decent friendly people (many that I met for the the first time) and hanging out with a new friend, Shane Williams, and his great family. Cool people, great trip, recovered some gold, learned about the area, and made it out to tell the tale! Come along for a quick recap of some of what happened during the first two days of a three day trip! We met Shane from the Treasure Train series on YouTube, Dave the Expert Gold Prospector, do some metal detecting and dry washing for gold and we hand pan some gold, talk about and show a standard "puffer type" battery powered Dry Washer and a custom built smaller hand crank Dry Washer unit built by James Hoeschen as seen on the Jon Carlson YouTube channel, give a shout out to our honorable friend Damon Fey from the Damon Fey Outdoors channel on YouTube, and we had a great time, everyone was safe, and many people recovered some gold for their effort!
