This post is made in part to something I have noticed on Facebook. Seeing the interest and question about Bitcoin from within my friends circle has exploded in recent weeks as the lame-stream media has embraced reporting on bitcoin and it's recent spikes in price this year!

I thought I would take some time to build a post here on steemit that I could share with people on Facebook.

Most Canadian are in the dark to how there current fiat currency enslave them. I feel it might be a good idea to share some relevant information on Canadian dollars in hope some Canadian might gain from first understanding their current currency, before jumping into the cryptocurrency space!

Canadians have long been taken advantage of by the current 5 large banks in Canada. With high fees and bad service. These banks have been posting record profits off the back of Canadians with ever growing personal debt.

This series is a little dated, but I think you will find that it's more information than most Canadians have learned their whole lives on how their money system works. They should be mandatory learning in our schools. But as many as you know, money systems are not meant to be discovered on how they work by there very design.
