Canada named second best country in the world again
This morning i woke up and read Canada named the second best country in the world again . I started to think why? I have been living in Toronto Canada for the last Ten years and these are the reasons why i feel that Canada should be named the best country in the world .
1- Huge country with natural resources.
Canada is a large country in terms of size making it second largest in terms of total area. It is the fourth on the list of countries with natural resources and has the second largest reserve of oil after Saudi Arabia.
2- Diversity not a cause of division but for celebration.
In Canada you just don't see only one race but all race . People of all different faiths , religion etc. Everybody sees diversity as a strength rather than a weakness . The laws of nature states that if you respect others you will get respect too.
3- Free health care for all Canadian citizens.
If you get sick and are broke like me all the time (just kidding), you could just take your health card and visit any clinic and the government will pay the tab.
4- Media more subdued.
When you watch Television in Canada the amount of graphic violence is limited . People are not exposed 24/7 to acts of violence and propaganda news . The quality of news is more educational and unbiased in comparison to the US.
5- Our passion for Hockey and Coffee
Just as much as we love hockey we love coffee too. My favorite hockey team is the Toronto Maple Leafs and every time they play ;time stand still and i am shouting at my television set.
And Regarding coffee if you visit any Canadian cities you will come across Tim Horton's where you can get your daily fix of caffeine. I usually drink dark roast medium double-double. (what the hell is a double double ; you might be wondering - it is 2 cream and 2 sugar . That's the common lingo used in Canada for 2 cream and 2 sugar.
6-Canadian immigration policy attracting richest, and brightest from the world.
The Canadian Government is attracting rich business owner to immigrate to Canada for a nominal sum of $240,000 Canadian Dollars. If you can pay the Canadian government the sum of $240,000 Canadian dollars as a business investor .You and your family can immigrate to Canada and will get your residence papers in the airport and after 3 years of physical presence in Canada , you can become a Canadian citizen if you choose. (Just imagine a blue coloured worker working all his life cannot pay the government half of that in taxes ; and wealthy individuals are paying that in seconds to be a part of the Canadian family)
7- Criminal Justice system focus on rehabilitate rather than incarcerate.
The criminal justice system here focuses on rehabilitating rather than incarcerating, they even have a program here where drug addicts can take their drugs and go to a building where government provides them with clean needles to shoot up heroin. Well some of you might say this is bad , but if the government doesn't provide clean needles ; these addicts will not stop using drugs . They will share needles and get hepatitis , aids and other sickness and these addicts are a part of the Canadian society and will spread these diseases to all .Thus eventually the health care system will pay a burden for their stupid choices. Therefore rehabilitate or bring about awareness is better than incarcerate.
8- Access to educational loans easy.
College and university loans are easy to get . Masters and Phd programs are even encouraged and funded by the government.
9- Crime rate low and gun crimes lower.
The gun crime rate is very low and people don't arm themselves to the teeth saying it is their second amendment right.
