Not surprised to see the advent of Bud & Breakfasts in the Pine Tree State. As the latest US State to legalize cannibis, we can expect all kinds of new pot-related businesses springing up.

There are still risks to marijuana entrepreneurs here in Maine, however. The State has yet to develop regulations and licensing procedures for retail establishments. And although it is legal to both grow and use cannibis for personal consumption, it is not legal to sell it.

Looming over everything, however, is the fact that cannibis is still illegal by federal law. The Trump Administration has yet to take a position regarding States who have legalized pot, but initial indications are not exactly favorable. Time will tell.
