Is Legal Cannabis Coming to the Midwest?
I certainly hope so! I am very anxious to see what happens in Michigan and North Dakota next month. I have a better feeling about Michigan than North Dakota in general, but also about this election.
Both states have approved medical cannabis in the past, but now they will decide whether or not the drug should be legal for any adult 21 or over. They would become the 10th and 11th states to do so.
One has to wonder how many states it will take before something is done federally. I doubt you were alive then to remember, but that's sort of how the prohibition of alcohol eventually fell. Too bad it has taken exponentially longer for the prohibition of cannabis to end. It's <strikenot like anyone died in the mean time.
