RE: Smoking on some Sauce💎⛽️

in #cannabis6 years ago

I have found "sauce" to be a low quality version of other extract types. It's basically cheap terpenes taken from other plant sources, mixed with whatever source of cannabinoids you use, such as BHO, budder, shatter that didn't turn out well, etc. Tends to be high in flavour, but not in a natural way. And it tends to be low in cannabinoids, often with a lot of extra waxes. You see more and more "sauce" as the industry becomes more recreational and commercialized, but that's not necessarily a good thing. This is the kind of thing they make a wild sounding name for, slap it in too much packaging, and overcharge for.

Sort:

All the sauce ive ever had no terpenes added. It is to expensive, but it can be some truly remarkable stuff.

What's expensive?

Why would it be? It's just the cheapest possible concentrates, with something runny added, typically terpenes which are from other much cheaper plants. The extra terpenes impress people who don't know any better, and also make the "sauce" even cheaper than before. A total win for the producer :D

Money printing machines is what these guys are. Ill just stick to my flower, with the terpenes still intact. ;0)

DrUtter: Lol do you know what HTSFE is? And what’s your lab experience. Diamonds are not the cheapest form of concentrate lmao that 25) a gram shatter you smoke by dark side is. This is derived using vacuum ovens and other pricey extraction equipment, not a hair straightener fella.

What are you talking about diamonds for? Dark side? I don't know what you're talking about, and I don't think you do, either.
I've been involved in the industry for a lot of years here in Vancouver and so have my friends and business partners. "Sauce" is a new and trendy type of dab made from shitty concentrates and cheap terpenes from other sources. That's why it's lower in THC than proper extractions. And yes, shitty concentrates can come from "pricey equipment". It happens when people who don't understand the process get a hold of pricey equipment. It's happening more and more now with "legalization" and commercialization of the industry.
