Unregulated CBD oils

Over the last year we have started a journey to a better life. This included getting a farm away from city life, where we will become self sufficient and debt free. Allowing us to spend more time on the things that matter....family, spirituality and health.

Part of the push to get us here quickly was the failing health of the in-laws and my own parents. Specifically the in-laws were battling with cancer and other ailments.
We needed to do something about it or live with regret that we didn't. We had watched as cancer and other sicknesses had hurt and taken family members and decided to try do something this time round.

We started to grow Cannabis!

This was not to get high or make life 'happy' till we die! No, this was so we could extract the CBD and THC oils from the plant and use as a medicine for those that were battling.
We did it, and it has been a revelation to a few of us that are taking it. From arthritis to cancer, it has been amazing how this oil has changed things for this family. BUT this is not about the benefits of the oils, this is more about the issue we have with the oils 'out there'.
On a personal note, I cannot understand why anyone would want to get high?!?! It's a horrible out of control feeling. 1 drop is enough for me since I get the benefits without the horrible high feeling. The wife and I both dislike that feeling.

Because CBD oil has become so popular, and in demand due to its benefits and ease of growth, there have been produces popping up all over the place doing similarly to us, and providing the oils to their families and others that are willing to pay reasonably high prices for the sticky black goo that the plant produces.
I believe most purchasing the oils are not after the high that comes from a higher dosage, but more for it's medicinal properties. The smokers want the high more than the medicine.

Now due to the many producers of the oils, and there being no medical standard on the oils, people are being taken for rides. Surprise surprise, people are taking advantage of the needy, and supplying 'watered down' oils to the poor 'suckers' that are desperate for help. The world is so wicked, and you can understand how the pharmaceutical companies get away with it on a large scale.
Anyway, we have noticed(now that we are making the oils) that a lot of suppliers supply tinctures to their clients that are so weak that they are essentially olive/coconut oil with a dash of CBD oil on the side. There product says nothing of how much CBD oil is in the vial, or how much is needed to help the customer. So the client happily takes the oils and sees little affect in their life.

For example, if you as an average Joe, decided to take a SMALL amount of pure cannabis oil, about half a grain of rice, it would send you quite a buzz for a few hours. Especially if you're not used to the oils yet.
YET many people will be able to consume easily 20 drops of the tinctures and hardly feel an affect on themselves.

So what we've realized is that most tinctures dished out are around 1/10 mix of coconut/olive oil to 1ml of actual CBD oil, and yet those bottles sell for R500 for a 30ml bottle. That can get expensive really quickly.
So what I have advised all these people to find out, is what the mix is on the product they are buying.
They need to find out how much CBD oil is in each 10ml of product they buy! Then they can see the actual cost of the CBD oil and see if they are being ripped off or not. Also they will see how much actual CBD oil they are consuming.

For example, Rick Simpson suggests that in order to fight cancer you need to consume a huge amount of CBD oil over a short period of time. He suggests that you take 60ml of CBD oil (with THC in it) over a 90 day period to kill most cancer.
That is a lot of oil! But will be impossible to know if the mix you're buying is 1 to 10 strength.

The wife and I decided on a 1 to 1 ratio on our oils. that makes the oil easy to use (not sticky and impossible to work with like when raw) yet strong enough so that a single drop will be enough for maintenance and arthritis for a big guy like myself weighing in at 105kgs.

So in a bottle of 30ml, we are supplying at least 15ml of actual CBD oil.

By the way, this is not a punt for our oils, because we in actual fact don't sell the oils to people out there....we've give a few botlles to people we care about, but haven't sold. Like I said, this was for our OWN GOOD we were doing this, and it has honestly worked well.
Like I said, my arthritis is gone as long as I take the oil (small 1 drop amount every 2 days). Mother in laws lung cancer is gone. Mother is putting it on a cancerous growth. We use it on our dog with osteoarthritis issues that has changed his life! Father in law tumor is under control and now he sleeps like a baby too!

So people, take my advice here, don't get duped by money grabbers just because they are selling the miracle CBD oil to you. Most people will take any advantage over others for cash! It's sad, but true.
Find out what strength the oils are. A single drop of CBD oil should be enough to make you feel it. 2 drops should easily put you on a buzz if not watered down.

now this is of course if you are buying oils with the THC elements in it. this is the part of Cannabis that makes you high. We are told that this is also an important part of the medicine, and that the CBD only portion is great, but not complete without the THC's. So we are making it with the THC's.
You can get oils that are CBD only. Your choice.

So to give a quick overview:

1. Watch out for low CBD oil prices. It usually means that they are watering it down with other oils. Any decent producer will know exactly how much CBD oil is in each bottle/syringe
2. CBD oils do not cure everything! It is great for a lot of ailments, but don't expect some miracle cure for everything wrong in your health life
3. You can choose to get CBD oils with THC in it, or you can buy without
4. Check how they make the oils. Some people use Ethanol that is not good for human consumption. You don't want to follow the pharmaceutical method of buying one drug to help, but it's side affects are as bad as your initial ailment
   

I hope this helps those that are taking the oils, so they don't get taken for a ride, and spend hard earned cash on a watered down tincture that is not helping too much.
