CanYa see the value??
I recently came across a project which is doing an ICO that i think has some very interesting value propositions for investors. I am not one to jump into many ICO's but every so often one come into my radar that really get me excited.
As always DYOR (Do Your Own Research), this is not investment advise and any information displayed below is accurate to the best of my knowledge and is general in nature.

Canya is a platform that connects professionals with customers; it is a marketplace for services.
Services could be in the form of a local trades person to repair your computer, fix your plumbing or evacuate a crocodile from your back yard (They are based in Australia..). Services can also be delivered digitally - need a new website, data processing, marketing, accountant, trolls or shills for hire... i'm sure in time they will have it all.
The digital services are the ones that really get me excited. Imagine a global landscape of professionals at your disposal at a touch of a button. Reputation systems to ensure you are getting the skills and experience you desire and payments secured by stable value escrow which can be received with a mix of the professionals desired fiat or cryptocurrencies and of course as the employer you also have the option to pay with cryptocurrencies!
Canya is an existing business based out of Australia that already has a working platform with customers and is looking for funding to expand the platform to a global scale and integrate blockchain to enhance the payment side as well as enabling cross border contracting.

What value do i see?
Apart from a platform that will allow me to employee services from anywhere around the globe using crypto some key aspects of the ICO caught my eye.
CanYa HODL Club - Supply and Demand - The idea of this 'club' is to add incentives for long terms holders/supporters of the project. The first month will see 1 Million CAN distributed/airdropped to HODLers holding more than 5000 CAN from the ICO or 10,000 CAN purchased after the ICO. Month 2&3 will see airdrops from Canya partners (as well as other benefits of the HODL club). Integrity - These guys are not trying to bring in endless amounts of money. They actually halved the amount of funding they were looking for after on boarding some partners that have increased efficiency and therefore reduced the Post-ICO costs. Size of World Services market
Looks promising. But I feel that market is still recovering from the damage done by China regulations. Moreover, Bitcoin is so volatile recently and with all Gold and Diamon forks. It looks a lot chaos is going on in the market. Its hard to make decisions of investment or trading at the moment.
I think China has play out pretty well and as for the forks i was only ever concerned with were Bitcoin Cash and Segwit2x. Every other fork planned from here on out (gold, diamond, red, blue lalala) is just an airdrop on BTC holders; essentially IMO they are just altcoins with a shared history. but i can see where your coming from :) interesting times for sure!
I would recommend caution when attempting to claim these forks; i am worried that people will use un audited wallets and expose the private keys to their bitcoin.
Yeah I think we can see the FUD from chinas ICO concerns has mostly washed away. I feel it held back ETH's price explosion till now but it seems to me people must be over that fear or they wouldnt invest so much in ETH recently since ETH is the home of those ICOs, at least most of them.

Interesting. I could see a real adoption of a service like this particularly if the reputation system is reliable which presumably blockchain would allow.
1200 tokens for 1 eth is about 0.40 USD per, not what I would call cheap, but interesting.
I say that because some great projects further along have a lower value, like Cardano and Stellar Lumens. Neither are comparable projects but since I only have a limited amount to invest I would probably prefer another project.
Interesting though nevertheless. I could imagine this being big. Hopefully you and everyone in on this KILL it and if so maybe Ill end up regretting my position.

This is like the 3rd of 4th project I've taken a look at where they are trying to connect contractors with customers, and honestly I don't see the value in this type of project in the crypto world for another maybe 5 years.
My opinion. Development will be extraordinary slow, and implementation of the product won't be used an a massive scale, i don't think.
