The first SUV of the British will debut this year
Waiting for Rolls-Royce's first SUV is "almost at the end," the company said, confirming that the model that the British stubbornly refused to call SUV would be called Cullinan.

Rolls-Royce has just explained that this is just a "job name" for the project, but it seems that it will remain permanent.

The model is named after the diamond of the same name found in South Africa in January 1905 and has become world-famous as the "largest diamond," with a weight of 3106.75 carats. The diamond is named after the boss of the mine where it was discovered - Thomas Culinan.

Before the official Culinan premiere, the car will be presented to Rolls-Royce's most loyal customers at several outdoor events. Most likely the model will be presented in the summer.

It is supposed that the SUV will get the same 6.75-liter V12 engine that also powers the Phantom VIII and will have the ambition to be the most luxurious car in its segment. There is still no indication of how Cullinan will be priced, but given that Phantom has been launched from $ 450,000 in the United States, there is no doubt that the new Rolls-Royce model will easily take the best- expensive serial car.
