Hello steemianos here I present a little summary of the carnival in various parts of the country, I hope you like it. The main actors are children, who participate in schools and street activities. The carnival is a celebration that takes place immediately before the Christian Lent and has a variable date (between February and March depending on the year), In Venezuela they are celebrated in different cities, the most famous are those of Callao, Carupano and Maturin. The carnival combines many elements such as queens, costumes, sambas, bands, parades, wraps, candy and street parties, in some places it is tradition to play with water, wetting another person.

In some Carnivals of El Callao, these are the most famous in Venezuela for what has been recognized, as an event of Regional Tourist Interest and declared by the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Venezuela as an event of National Tourist Interest in March 1998 and 1 December 2016 was declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco. Traditional Carnivals of El Callao, small town of Bolívar Venezuela. It is famous for its colorful and strong cultural richness, and for its sticky calypso music. It has its main characters such as madamas, mediopinos, fantasies and devils. There are also other characters created as the miner, the mamarracho and the negritas.Un picturesque character called Medio Pinto or "negropinto", as they smear his body with a substance prepared from ground coal, molasses and water, which achieves a totally black and sticky. During the festivities they are seen wandering the streets demanding money in exchange for not painting the passers-by, it is almost impossible to be saved from being painted, for which, the chosen one prefers not to resist.
