Sassolungo and Sassopiatto mountains, very famous among climbers, reach 3.181 mt. and 2.681 mt. high.
The mountain massif named Catinaccio was originally a coral reef and it's considered the borderline between the Gardena valley with the famous city of Ortisei and the Fassa valley with the famous city of Canazei.
