The brand of the car, and even more so the model, was not found on any photo in the network. Just an old cool car.

But curiosity awoke what kind of car it is. The options were different - from the domestic auto industry since the USSR, to German concerns of the prewar period. As a result, the desired model was found. Tatiana took part in the search, she eventually found the right one.) Below is a brief search history and the right result.)

ZIS 101

The first assumption is the Moskvich. This statement was doubtful, therefore, other options began to google. The first of them was - the ZIS 101. At first glance, it looks like, especially when you consider that the Samara instance does not have a grille and is clearly not a native bumper. As a result, the option was rejected.

Searches were continued. The next option was the Wanderer W23 sedan. Around the end of the 30s. There are more similarities here, but some details were confusing. Moreover, the models of those years are very similar.

The next, last and correct option was the BMW 326, 1936. This model was produced by the Bavarian concern from 1936 to 1941, and was the most successful in the prewar line of BMW. The network found information that after the end of the war, many of these vehicles were transported to the Soviet Union - the Red Army officers really liked this machine. Apparently, one of them came to Samara, where it remained until today.
