Car News: Porsche invests in electric tech
Porsche is set to invest a staggering 5.3 billion pounds in technology for electric vehicles up to year 2022. Out of this, 447 million pounds will be used to develop their beautiful "Mission E" sports car.
At their plant in Zuffenhausen, Porsche is building a new assembly area and paint shop for the production of the 591 bhp Mission E. The model is set to go into production in 2019, with 20.000 units being built.
Big competition in electric sport cars with Tesla, Jaguar I-PACE, BMW i3, Concept EQ by Mercedes and in Super car the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio (one of my old post)...
