Today we move to the United States of America(USA). The Hennessey Venom GT. It is manufactured by a Texas-based company Hennessey Performance Engineering .
This car is known to hold unofficial speed records. in 2013 the car set an unofficial record for 0–200 mph (0–322 km/h) acceleration at 14.51s, beating the Koenigsegg Agera R's time of 17.68s and also crested 265.7mph(427.6 km/h) over the course of 2 miles (3.2 km) during testing at United States Naval Air Station Lemoore in Lemoore, California.

The design of the car is based on the Lotus Elise chassis. so it is basically a heavily modified Elise chassis to shed of weight and distribute the power and torque well.

Engine:
Type - 90-degree V8
Block/heads - iron or aluminum
Forced induction - twin precision ball bearing turbochargers
Horsepower - 1244 bhp at 6600 rpm (cockpit-adjustable to 800bhp, 1000bhp & 1244 bhp)
Torque - 1155 lb-ft at 4400 rpm
Redline - 7200 rpm

Speed numbers:
0-60 mph in 2.7 sec.
0-200 mph in 14.51 sec.
¼ mile in 9.92 sec. @ 163 mph
Verified speed-270.49 mph
Estimated top speed - 278 mph
