SS Jaguar 100.

Today I bring to you this very beautiful SS Jaguar 100 from the all British day in Brisbane Australia.

This is a 1939 SS Jaguar 3½ litre Drophead Coupe what a beautiful vehicle it is. This is from the time when the now known Jaguar cars were called SS Cars. In march 1945 SS Cars was renamed Jaguar Cars Limited. As the SS was becoming an issue due to the German SS army devision. These SS Jaguar 100 series cars were made from 1936-1941 they had a 2.663 l straight six at first then from 1938 had the 3.5l six cylinder engine fitted. These cars were fitted with 18 inch wheels how said big wheels are a new thing on cars.
