Updated Hyundai Elantra: first photos 🚗

Photospies caught a pre-production copy of the car on Korean roads, where the sedan, known to us as Elantra, is sold under the name Avante. Camouflage covers can not hide the changes that will survive the model in the middle of the life cycle of this generation.

So, apparently, after restyling at Hyundai Elantra the front part will seriously change: a radiator grille, headlights, a bumper will be executed in the same style as on Hyundai Lafesta recently shown in China. New language designers called Sensious Sportiness.

Behind the change is not so obvious. But then there will be new lights and bumper, which will move from the trunk lid mount license plate.

Most likely, there will be much stronger changes in the interior, which should become more minimalist and "airy". Absolutely precisely after updating on Hyundai Elantra there will be a new multimedia system with support of Apple CarPaly and Android Auto.

Technical details are unknown. Most likely, the current 1.6-liter GDI engine will be replaced by a new Smart Stream family of the same volume. It is weaker (123 HP), but much more economical and environmentally friendly.

The premiere of the updated Hyundai Elantra can be expected in August this year. Initially, the sedan will appear on the home market, then in North America.
