The L series Rolls-Royce Bentley V8 is an all alloy motor and introduce in 1959 and is still in production today some with twin turbos😁. It is the longest running production engine still fitted to vehicles in the world. The smallest are of 5.2l (317cu in) all the way out to 7.44l (454 cu in). The most common engine size fitted is the 6.750l (412 cu in). Rolls-Royce now owned buy BMW use BMW V12 engines while Bentley name now owned by the Volkswagen group still use the L series V8.
