The Witty Mouse

About a couple of weeks ago I was helping a woman clean her house and we noticed her cat Brownie had caught a mouse. She walked around the yard carring the mouse in her mouth. She walked as if to be proud of her catch, but the mouse was no longer moving. She set it down for a moment when suddenly the mouse pops up and scurries into the nearest bush. The cat quickly chases after the mouse following its every move. The mouse sees a life saving opportunity and he goes for it. He runs his little tail towards the screen door. Cat is stumped is at foot of the door keep mouse in her sights. Mouse climbs the mesh as fast as he could, he gets to the tip top not realizing theres no more door, hes stuck. Nothing else to but stay put until cat leaves. But wait, Cat places claws on mesh, she begins to climb. Mouse trys reaching for somewhere else to climb to but cannot find a way out..

.. but luckily the woman shook the cat off the door and she brought the cat inside the house so the mouse can run away to a safer spot.
