Cat Appetite Losses I

Cats have been known to be the selective gourmet pet that will pick and choose what they like to eat. In some cases they may even refuse to eat altogether, depending on the cause there are a number of reasons and remedies that can be applied depending on diagnosis.

Cats who refuse to eat at all will not often do so if they dislike what is being served, it is indication for a more serious underlying issue. A complete loss of appetite may be classified as feline Anorexia and immediate investigation to its cause is required to ensure symptoms do not persist and the root issue is solved. The reasons for lack of appetite can be many and relate to injuries, dental issues and emotional well being in the general living environment. Cat owners should take immediate action if their cat display a complete loss in appetite.
