As competition elevates, the overseeing body will be of a grander scale. International bodies will often organise and regulate national competitions and numerous events will run throughout the showing days. As an average estimate, a breeder should prepare as early as possible. Three months is the normal decision making time to start the application process along with any associated cost.

Cat events require planning, time and resource. Some entry fees may be small but higher costs will be expected for the bigger shows. Prize money and prestigious awards are also given out during these events. Getting the application right is important in the earlier stages. Any wrong details can possibly disqualify oneself from the event entirely. Checking this a few times even after submission is advised.
