Hazardous Cat Foods II

Knowing which foods can and cannot be ingested by a cat is a very important part of pet keeping knowledge and an owner should responsibly make an effort to understand what a cat can consume, even under accidental circumstances.

While the dangerous cleaning substances are kept out of the way, it has been a common misconception that some of the more common household foods are fine as a primary source of food. Canned foods are at the forefront of this and even just a can of tuna can be hazardous for a cat for more than one reason. The canned variant of tuna can be an addictive meal if fed on regular basis, and if not supplemented by traditional foods that carry well balanced nutrients, a big deficiency can occur.
