As strange as it might sound, cats often enjoy a massage session to help relax and ease into the state of enjoyment. Reaching the point where a cat is able to feel comfortable enough to allow a massage session provides a gateway of stress relief that will assist in many ways.
It reduces stress and this can be particularly beneficial for senior cats that have suffered from ailment or general age deterioration. Cat owners will also be able to make use of this time to bond with their cat as an understanding of mutual trust and bonding is further developed. This is a great activity to get into the habit with a pet and will be something that both parties will look forward to as the routine behaviours set in.
