Cat showing is an exciting prospect for many breeders who seek the opportunity to show off the beauty of their most valued companions. The showing stage is very accommodating but there are many issues to think through before committing to an entry.

While much guidance around preparation and the best traits of a breed can be outlined, there are other fundamental reasons that may prevent entry altogether. It’s easy to consider cat showing as a sole effort as a breeder invest much time and resources in caring for their cat but a show environment is not suitable for everyone. Focus is placed in the atmosphere that a cat will be introduced to for the very first time.
