Lemon accompaniments, known as Pepitones, are one of the most popular dishes on the Island. Perfect to accompany a day at the beach with a cocktail.

The pepitona, Arca zebra, is a bivalve mollusk that lives on the seabed attached to sandy-rocky substrates. The main natural banks of this resource are found in the northeastern region of Venezuela (New Esparta and Sucre states).
