Cows and what we derived from them

Cows are herbivorous, big and fat feamle animals, reared for the production of milk or meat(beef). Cows feed on plants, grasses and leaves of trees(herbivores). The young ones(offsprings) are called CALVES....I love cows so much simply because of it importances to man. 65% of what we wear, make use of today, are gotten from cows. You will agree with me that cows are very beneficial and useful to man, which actually appears to be natural.

These importances are derived from the part of cows which are as follows:

  1. The breast provides milk: milk is a liquid substance, white in colour, which are produced by cows, goats, e.t.c to provide protein to humans when drunk.
As for me, i drink milk daily to make me stay healthy and it is advisable for you to drink daily also. Nursing mothers should drink(more) too, to keep them and their babies healthy. Now tell me, without cows, where will be our major source of milk?

  2. The Flesh: the flesh is also crucial to humans because it can be used for many things. One of them is that the flesh can be used for meat(beef). Beef is something i also like to eat because of the taste when its well prepared. Meat in general also supplies protein to humans and for this reasons, i will advise you to eat beef because it makes us healthy.

3.The hides and skin can also be used as:
(i) drum skin(surface) such as congas, talking drum e.t.c
(ii) Leathers such as leather belts,
leather bags, leather jackets and bootse.t.c.
