British Government Step Up Censorship Of Internet, Wants 'Fake News' Redirected To Their Own Fake News Sites

The British Government has said they believe social networking sites have a responsibility to prevent fake news from being communicated to others using those platforms. The Government has said they want sites such as Facebook and Twitter to start redirecting any links to (what is in their opinion) fake news sites to verified sources.

Clearly we're seeing more attempts at censorship now. During the EU Referendum, and both before and since, there has been a lot of lies told within the official 'news' media grouping so this is obviously not about facts being given to the public, it's about getting propaganda from certain parties to the public instead and restrict access to blogs or smaller group's websites that challenge the lies.
