Reflection

I remember this track nostalgically because, upon graduation from the university, it was the song used in waking us up while at the regimented NYSC camp.

Once the beagle is blown to announce the dawn of a new day, this very song immediately blares from the loudspeakers mounted throughout the camp.

At once, we jumped to our feet to prepare ourselves for the morning drills that would see us melting beneath the rays of the scorching sun. To this very moment, I still wonder why the soldiers chose to wake us up with this romantic song when there is no lover by our side.

Above all, Good Morning Beautiful is a lovely song, of course for only those who actually have a lover by their side.
