The topic for today is: what is more important for Steemit, SMT or Hivemind?
SMT are smart media tokens and Hivemind are basically the communities.
Hivemind actually speeds up creativity, because instead of a single individual working on a topic, there will be more than one. It also brings with it some challenge to find unity as a community but the consent can be acheived quickly.
The SMT will create several new tokens that will exist on the Steem Blockchain. These will bring their own applications and their own value system. It can also develop various platforms that stand as a competitor to Steemit. I think that's not bad, because competition is good most of the time.
In my opinion SMT is more important than Hivemind. Why? Because the SMTs offer multiple opportunities and that will lead to a faster growth. The amount of applications that can be built to have no relation to Steemit is simply huge. You can build applications like Appics that compete with Instagram, you can also build tokens and applications that can help run a factory or optimize a hospital. As I said, just everything you can think of. You can see it at the Ethereum, ETH has become large by the tokens that have been created on its blockchain. The only thing Steemit Inc. has to do is accelerate this development, because there are other projects that are looking to start something like that.

Durch Hivemind wird die Kreativität eigentlich beschleunigt, weil anstatt das ein einziges Individuum an einem Thema arbeitet werden es hier mehrere sein. Das bringt mich sich auch gewisse Herausforderung um eine Einheit zu finden als Gemeinschaft aber das kann alles schnell gemacht werden könne.
Durch die SMT werden verschiedene neue Tokens erschaffen werden die auf der Steem Blockchain existieren werden. Diese werden ihre eigene Applikationen mitbringen und ihr eigenes Wert System. Es können sich auch verschiedene Plattformen entwickeln die als Konkurrenz zu Steemit dastehen. Das finde ich eigentlich nicht schlecht, weil Konkurrenz ist meisten gut.
Meiner Meinung nach ist SMT wichtiger als Hivemind. Warum? Weil durch die SMTs mehrere Möglichkeiten sich ergeben und das wird zu einem schnelleren Wachstum führen. Die Menge der Applikationen die sich bauen lassen die keinen Bezug zu Steemit haben sollen ist einfach riesig. Man kann Applikationen wie Appics die Konkurrenz zu Instagram sind bauen, man kann auch zum Beispiel Tokens und Applikationen bauen die helfen können eine Fabrik zu führen oder ein Krankenhaus zu optimieren. Wie schon gesagt, einfach alles was man sich denken kann. Man sieht es beim Ethereum, ETH ist groß geworden durch die Tokens die erschaffen worden sind. Das einzige was Steemit Inc machen muss ist diese Entwicklung zu beschleunigen, weil es gibt auch andere Projekte die sowas anstreben.
