May 30 Days Writing Challenge - Day Ten: What’s Your Favorite Morning Drink: Coffee, Tea, Water, Juice? Why?

Hi guys. It is ten days into the month of May, 2018 and so, it is the tenth day of the May 30 Days Writing Challenge organized by @dragosroua. You may have a look at the Introductory Post to know what the challenge is about and how you may join if you wish to. Here comes my entry post into today’s challenge.

I like my first drink of the day to be tea with milk and flavoured with fresh blended ginger and garlic. It gives a tangy and refreshing taste, making it a great way to kick-start the day's activities. When I run out of fresh ginger and garlic, I settle for the processed one in powdered form. I learnt this from a boss I have once worked with. I have learnt that only a handful of people like garlic as most people dislike the taste and smell, especially when one belches.

The other drink I love to take is the zobo drink. This I can take any time of the day.

Zobo (Zoborodo) is a Nigerian beverage made from dried Roselle plant flowers. The drink is also known as Roselle drink and called Sorrel drink in the Carribean. I have a friend that makes this for sale and so, I enjoy it whenever I wish to.

Though I take something light for breakfast, I start work in the morning with either of these drinks and I also take it whenever I need to concentrate on a paper work. You should try the zobo drink if you've not taken it before.
