Charles Manson was in the first tier of east block yard side, he would call me bandit and say” come on bandit let’s get some horses and ride to Mexico” he used to have a guitar in his cell and he thought he could play but he sucked, he used to get over 30 pieces of mail everyday, women were in love with him and would mail him naked pictures of themselves wanting to marry him,I never understood why the court system allowed us tax payers to keep spending money on inmates that will never amount to anything nor will they contribute anything positive to society, we have over 750 condemned roll inmates Jus sitting there costing 70K a year or more depending on their legal fees

Charles Manson's obituary, you can see the affect of how seriously broken families can break children. His Mother would not even name him, taught him how to steal at a young age, and abandoned him for a new boyfriend. When he ran away from reform school to be with her, she rejected him. He had free will, did not have to be a satanic maniac, but the poor choices of his mother certainly helped make him the monster he was.
