Emotional versus sexual

I have two close friends that got involved in an affair. How strange that both of them were going through similar problems in life. However, there is a little difference in both of the stories. One of them got involved in an emotional affair, while the other one in a sexual affair. The first friend claims to have a great sex life with her husband, but still she fell in love with someone else… In this case I would say it was rather an emotional affair. I understood that she didn´t feel loved by her husband anymore, and her lover was making her feel good. Pleasant vibe, new passion in her life. We all know how it feels at the beginning. Falling in love triggers all those love hormones that are bringing us high and make us feel to have butterflies in the stomach. Very nice, but of course everybody knows that this state usually lasts only the first two years...The sex life with the lover was apparently not that great, but it was rather the emotional side that she was missing. Another friend that I became close with was complaining of not being sexually satisfied by her husband. Before marrying him, she had many men and she knew what she wanted. Or rather simply said she knew what a good sex life feels for her… In this case I do not even understand why did she marry this man if he couldn´t satisfy her? Or did their sex life change after a few years? Is it possible that he used to satisfy her before and now he does not? I am not really sure of what to think. I understood that she was looking for a responsible husband that could help her to raise their children… So, there are two completely different types of cheating, one is emotional and the other one is sexual. In the end if we really love someone, we have to nurture our love, we have to look after it. They say love is like a fire, if you do not add another log every now and then it will go out. Both sides of relationship have to be fulfilled: emotional as well as sexual. Maybe the problem of emotional connection to the other person is also caused by a big ego. My friend who ended up in the emotional affair is well educated, has a good career and a well-paid job. Her husband is also a successful man. Actually, they look like a perfect couple if you just look at them from the outside. Could their ego stand in the way in this case? In the end if people have a big ego, they can´t really connect on a deeper level and they start to miss something in a relationship. It has to be a deeper connection, not just a physical connection, but rather a spiritual connection. Sometimes it happens that people with a big ego have an invisible wall between them. Their bodies are close physically close, but the souls are not connected. But in case of real unconditional love, they say that there are two physical bodies, but two souls merge into one. In fact, some people can connect on a much deeper level than just physical. However, if both of the partners have some energy blockages, this could cause some more problems in the relationship. For example, a weaker throat chakra in one of the partners causes miscommunication and weaker heart chakra could be making one appear as less loving, more closed person. It could be a consequence of some pain or sadness resulting from our childhood that was not released. From the few meetings I have observed that the husband of my friend was rather a closed person. He was someone who would not be easily approached, he was keeping distance from people and I had a feeling that as if he had some kind of thorn inside of his heart that needed to be removed. Maybe he was hurt in the past by someone and did not trust people anymore. Or maybe he just stored the pain inside of his heart and that´s why he appeared to be rather cold. I have no idea if this is really true, but it is just my observation… If both of the partners have some energy blocks, this could manifest in their relationship. For example, if woman´s sacral chakra is closed, this could cause a lack of sexual energy and possibly some digestive problems. The problem of the other friend, that is rather sexual satisfaction, is a different story. Sexuality is also connected with abundance in our life. Abundance means not only love, but also money. Yes, it may sound strange, but the sacral chakra, it is also associated with pleasure, money and creativity. Give and receive principle. The more love you give, the more love you receive. It is so simple. I have noticed that the husband of this friend was always keeping a strict eye on the family budget. She was only allowed to spend a certain amount of money each month. This was very frustrating for her and made her feel jealous of other women who did not have this “problem”. What is interesting in this case, jealousy is also one of those negative emotions that are contributing to blocking of this chakra. Sometimes it is just better to spend a bit more money and have a happy wife… In the end one of my good friends always says: “a happy wife, a happy life.” Yes, there are indeed many men that are living like this, they try to please their wives, because they think that it will bring them a happier, more peaceful life… Some of them are maybe even giving too much and forget about themselves. They sometimes forget about the self-love. Look around and notice how many parents are giving love to their children and forget about themselves. I am sure that you know at least one of these mothers or fathers who just keep on giving love to their children and forget to go for a massage or just do something for themselves. In the end if you put yourself on the last place, sooner or later it will also turn against you. Balance in all parts of life, in all of the chakras. This is what we all need.
