This used to make me ill every time

As Oklahoma’s most active scholastic chess tournament director for the last 15-years, I used to get sick following every tournament. After becoming an empty-nester in 2012 there was little exposure to whatever was going around in the schools. Then, about once a month through the school year, volunteer directing a tournament for about 150 K-12 youths from all over the state, the bugs had their shot at me. The correlation was obvious, and I was reminded of that yesterday when directing a tournament in Tulsa with 167 players along with parents and siblings.
