The new season has started with a great tournament and makes you want more! In my livestream you can see pictures of my last big Siberian trip in the background, accompanied by upbeat music. In this way chess is fun and that should be our goal. Here is the full result:

The pairing sucks. How can it be that the 2 top players did not need to play against each other?
Not that it would made a difference :)

Lichess is a online chess game, not OverTheBoard! The rules are clear written down.
The pairing is sometimes strange, in this case the average rating of opponents was the same for both.

(Chess.com for example tries to be OTB and has some super strange rules, for example the 3 fold repetition which has to be claimed as our STEEM. And the running time as white is also not very nice.)

The forum on lichess is very open for any improvement or things you do not like, so feel free to mention the pairing from this tournament.

In many aspects, the rules of lichess.org, are out of reality. From the other side, I remember the tourney when the 2 top players played 3 times against each other. Resteemed!
