CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION IN YOBE STATE

Still in the mood of celebrating our children, God's heritage and leaders of tomorrow.....

My crew and I went out yesterday to interview some children in Yobe state, Damaturu to see how well they know about Children's Day, their feelings about it, and how they enjoy celebrating it here in Damaturu.

But it will interest you to know that most of this children doesn't know much about Children's Day because of level of illiteracy, lack of resort and recreational centers, lack of eatries and cinema house e.t.c

It was also discovered that most of this children got to know about Children's Day yesterday because it was on Sunday and most churches organized party to celebrate them. All of these children were excited and full of happiness at least to be celebrated and be part of the celebration, those I interviewed were super excited to face the video camera bearing in mind they will appear on television.

What can you say about this? Is this a good idea? What can you suggest to Yobe state government to do for proper celebration of children on a day like this?
