Children teach us so much, and yes, we need to upgrade ourselves to be able to meet them at their level. Parenting is part of the evolution of human kind, but it happens because of the children. Each generation is different, I agree. Also, this is so true:

Children are very sensitive and over and above everything what they always look for is sensitivity and understanding towards them. Emotional security plays a very important role in a child's life.

Being a mother isn't easy. In fact some days it's the hardest thing I've ever done, but my children are worth it. I force myself through the discomfort, through my own inner turmoil, and try to rise up so I can create two humans who are better prepared to shine in this world.
