Understanding God's Kingdom: We speak in Christ before God, but all things, beloved, for your edification. 2 Corinthians 12:19

The apostle Paul's relationship with the Church of Corinth was very intense and passionate. This Church was the first christian community that successfully received the word of God during Paul's second missionary journey, in Corinth the apostle preached for more than a year with great satisfaction.
But after his departure, disorders occurred in the community, so the apostle of the gentiles wrote his first letter and, as he recounts in his second letter to the community, he visited them briefly. After this visit, Paul was very saddened by the situation, so he addressed them this second letter, most likely from the city of Ephesus. It must be remembered that during this time the transmission of the gospels was fundamentally oral, and each disciple of the Lord added or removed things from the life of Jesus as they saw fit.
Very probably, the second letter to the Corinthians is a set of letters addressed by the apostle, but due to organizational reasons, they were later reunited into a single epistle. And in this letter, Paul taught with the purpose of transmit the understanding of the Kingdom of God, the empire or dominion of divine perfections.
The Kingdom of God is in essence according to Paul's thought the fruition of the perfections of God in the mind and hearts of men: "And so we also pray that you will become perfect" 2 Corinthians 13:9. But this is only achieved in one way, not by following the dictates of the flesh that bind man to sin but by the dictates of the spirit, that guide man on the correct path. The love of God, also called Agape, is the benevolent, edifying, progressive, and expansive love. This is why Paul explained the reasons for his letter and his preaching to the Church of Corinth: "We speak in Christ before God, but all things, beloved, for your edification" 2 Corinthians 12:19.
This is why the apostle ended his letter with a blessing, the Kingdom of God is the transformation of man towards the love of God: "The love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you" 2 Corinthians 13:13.
