Seek first the kingdom of God, not seek only the kingdom of God

I was talking with a friend of mine of recent, @ifechigosage to be precise. We just check our result and it wasn't really encouraging but I thank God. And got discussing about why do some so called men of God or fellowship papa fail in school this days. I checked many papa's in our fellowships in school, we discovered same thing. It is like they are mocking the name of God with their result. Not only papas also some fellowship members, devoted Christian in fellowship, church workers e.t.c. It was like God is a God of low grades but No. My God is a God of excellence.
We got wondering, what could cause this great failure in Academics amongst Christians. He said it is not by our strength but by God who show mercy. Even wonderful grades don't guarantee success in life. Then I said the Bible even I said seek first the kingdom of God and every other things will be added. Then we were struck with this knowledge.

I was wowed, this Bible we carry is complete. It has every answer, you just have to unlock the wisdom inside through the help of the holy spirit.
I discovered what most Christians today has been doing is seeking only the kingdom of God and leaving other things in their lives to lack not only a Academics that I am talking about right now. You need good grades but all you do is go to fellowship day and night, no time to read your book. God is no magician.
You need a job, you just sit at corner of your house seeking God's kingdom and not also writing those application letters.
what is killing many of us today is laziness in the things that matter.
And what we don't know is that laziness paralyses the soul and the body. It a type of slow suicide. Wage war against laziness.
Parting note: seek God first and add other necessary things.
