The Lord is our defender
We are nothing without the help of God. If not for God's mercy, the evil ones will have triumph over us.
Psalm 30 vs 1
I will exalt you, Lord, for you rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me
Psalm 91:1-8 KJV
[1] He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
[2] I will say of the Lord , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
[3] Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
[4] He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
[5] Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
[6] Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
[7] A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
[8] Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Your life is not safe if you are not on the Lord's side. We all have our dreams and we have plans to fulfill our dreams. So also, the devil and his agent have their plans to cut short our lives and make sure that our plans are not a fulfilled.
Anything that anybody achieved in life is not by his power, the achievement is possible because God did not allow the enemy to triumph.
The battle against your life and destiny is a serious one and can't be fought alone. So you need to be on the Lord's side in order to fight and overcome the evil ones. If you allow Jesus to take control of your life, the evil ones will give you your needed space and submit to God.
Are you on the Lord's side?
Remember that God is your only defence against the evil ones and you we be save if you are on His side.
I pray that the evil ones will not triumph over our lives in Jesus name. Amen
