I had boys:
- Always be able to look adults in the eye because you have nothing to hide.
- Learn to protect yourself.
- Respect for women even if they don't help themselves. Help the drunk ones to get out of there and home. Open doors and carry things.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
Also no tv in the house and needs a sport.

We have a TV in the house but it is not connected to a broadcasting service (for more than 10 years now). We only watch DVD's and mostly as a family. It is great not to bombarded with news and adverts.
Yes - that is a big relief on your senses!
