BE THE DOWER OF GOD'S WORDS
We have heard that the road that leads to death and the road that leads to enternal life has been given and the choice of which to follow is ours
Is not the delight of God that we perish but to leave the life of eternity which He promised us and also ready to grant to us only if we can keep His words
Bible said in Mathew 7:24-29
[24] NIV:“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock
[25]NIV:The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock
[26] NIV:But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand
[27] NIV:The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.
[28] NIV:When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching
[29] NIV:because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law
It will cost you nothing to keep these words but it will cost you a lot when you fails to keep them. He said that when you keep these words you will be like a building built in the rock that even when heavy wind and rain comes it wouldn't shake you.
Why wouldn't you keep these words, it gives confidence, it will make you stand out, it giveth inner peace, it gives wealth without sorrow and it leads to eternal life
Our God so faithful and merciful, and He said that the plans that He has for us is not of evil but for good. He is the same God today and tomorrow, He never changeth, He remained the same
Don't just be the hearer of His words but be also the dower of these words, its what tightens your relationship with God, its what gives recognition as a Christian
Jesus has died for you and me, He has fulfilled His own part, He has paid our debt what do you have to do to fulfill your own part? Accept these words and put them into practice very simple
My prayer for us today is that God will help us to be the dowers of His words and not just the hearers in Jesus name, amen
