Maturity in Christ is what brings us closer to the likeness of God. As Christians, what determines or rather define our maturity in Christ is our capability to know what is truth according to God's word and stand by it.

Let's see book of Ephesians 4:14

An immature Christian is just like a child that can easily be throw off balance because of his/her experience and that is the reason why its very expedient that we become mature in Christ in order to avoid falling prey to the devils deceits especially in this our generation.

Its very important to note that there are a lot of impostors this days parading themselves to be the preachers of God, thereby try to present to the church a Gospel which is not Christ, to be able to detect this, we really need maturity in Christ in order to overcome with truth this impending falsehood.

The only way for us to avoid been misled is by knowing the truth.

Let's see book of John 8:32

Knowing the truth is what moves us to spiritual maturity and Holy Bible is always there to provide such truth.

God's word is there for us all, as we seek help from the holyghost for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ Jesus, it behoves on us to study it day and night.
