Abide in His love, the perfect love.
What is the greatest gift you hav ever received from a friend and What is the highest you have given? Giving should be a way of life and how we should live. Giving is love and God is love. You can not claim to love God if you do not love your neighbors. Loving God is saying we know him, and he who knows him, keeps his commands.
Love is loyalty and loyalty is service. Service brings about laying your own for others, that is why God laid His only son for us that we might live. He gave us unconditionally which means that in the same way we must be willing to give for the sake of others.
Always abide in the love of God, because it is perfect. He loves us all uniquely and without partiality. Hence what he requires of us is to love others just as we love our selves. Going further ahead, it is important we know that if we say we love God but do not love others, then we are liars and have no truth in us.
The take home and what I think you can try as individuals is practicing true and sincere love to others. Giving out even when it seem very impossible to do that and when it is clear you might not have enough. Those critical times are not just ordinary, once you forget yourself for the sake of love of service; there is surely some hard stones that is being rolled away for you.
As we journey into another week, let us bear in mind that love is the unique way of opening every closed door in our lives. Love others as you love yourself and do unto them what you would like to be done to you. God is love, if you claim to love him and yet does not love others; does that not make you a liar?

Truth have you said. But permit me to add something to this...and this is word to everyone that comes across this post.
You must have heard that there's an obvious difference between being moral and being a Christian.
Morality is good, almost perfect even. Most "Christians" are nothing more than pure moralists. They knew and strive to do what they feel is socially acceptable as what's good and right to do.
What differentiates the Moralist from the Christian is the Holy Spirit. Now we all have different ways we experience Him and even tho the ultimate is the obvious speaking in other tongues, which I'm personally still praying for, even tho many have abused the sacredness of that gift, truth is that those that have the Holy Spirit are "moved" to act, "moved" to feel. Jesus, the first man to experience the Holy Spirit, was "moved" many times in the Gospels to act, "moved" to feel.
God is Love, true. But the only way to love like God is to have something of/from Him. Otherwise you'll love that the religious moralist. I dunno if I'm making any sense. I sure hope I am.
All I'm saying is that if you TRULY wish to love like God does, you MUST have God's Holy Spirit living in you.

Wow. I understand you perfectly. The holy spirit is "truth" and that is how we can act according to christ as christians. Anyone can be morally standard by doing what they feel is right that does not mean it is right in the sight of God.
The holy spirit is a gift that Jesus promised anyone who is willing to abide in him so that tge spirit which is one with christ can help direct in the real truth.

Love is the reason why we are created, If God doesn't love us in the first place, creation of Man might not be possible.
That's the reason why, He has always talked to us about love in the Holy books.

Love is a verb not a noun.
It is some sort of an action stuff not just a ceremonial word
You are right. Love is also a noun because christ is love and since we were made from his image, it shows that we are love too. But then these days we do not recognise this fact that is why we somehow derail from the truth.
Let us see others as love, only then can we play our purpose well in the service to humanity which is the deepest form of love.

Jesus said 'love your neighbour as thyself' which pretty much summarises the commandments given to Moses. If we do not love those we can see how can we claim to love a God that we have not seen and to cap it all, God is love. You have really done justice to this. Stay blessed.

As simple as those words are, it can be related to almost everything that we do. Hence if we love God we must be willing to love others.
