The end draws nigh

The other day I heard the my pastor talk about someone he knew in the Bahamas. Her friend and her family died in the tragic hurricane that struck the Bahamas while this lady's newly renovated house was shattered into pieces. This is the same Bahamas that is a popular honeymoon location to so many couples around the globe. In fact, I first came to know about the Bahamas because of its ever increasing popularity among newly weds. But today, look at the place that was once heaven on earth to some people. It is now a complete wreckage in the twinkle of an eye.

When I heard about this tragedy, I thought to myself: is this another sign of the end?
This is a sensitive topic nowadays and when you tell people that we are living in the end times, they only laugh and many do not believe you. Their attitude and reactions only raise a feeling of pity for them. This is because, scripture says it that like the days of Noah where only eight believed and went into the ark and were saved, so will the end be. And to see that scripture being fulfilled right in front of you is quite sad.

People are so busy with their earthly endeavors and their daily activities but what about their spiritual lives?
Some can barely remember the last time they had intimate time with Jesus, or read their bibles or fellowship with the brethren etc. Other things count except spiritual things. We tend to put our trust in the things of this World and we hold so tightly to them that we lose grip of Jesus, the one person that can save you.

Why have we refused to open our eyes to the evil that is taking over and the signs right before us? False prophets everywhere, rumors of war, signs in the sky and disasters here and there, abominations legalized here and there (LGBT) etc. The state of our present World is worst that in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. All these signs pointing us to the end and still, people remain deaf to the warnings.
How prepared are you to meet the Lord?
If Jesus was to come today, will he find you ready?
What is your relationship with Jesus like these days?

These are but some of the questions that kept pumping into my head and I was not even sure of myself anymore. The end draws nigh and we must be ready. There is nothing in this World worth missing heaven for. Absolutely nothing is worth it. That house, that job, that bank account, that beautiful girl/boy you are fornicating with, clubbing, sex, partying, drugs etc. They are not worth it and you will regret it if you should miss heaven because of these things. If there is an event you must not miss, it's the rapture and if there is one place you should not miss, it's heaven.

BUT KNOW THIS, IF YOU MISS HEAVEN, YOU WILL DEFINITELY NOT MISS HELL...
THIS IS NOT TO SCARE ANYBODY BUT JUST SAYING THE TRUTH....

Howdy sir hermannsol! It's the bold truth that's for sure and people need to think about their spiritual life before anything else. That's a tough sell these days. I was so shocked about the disaster in the Bahamas, and greatly saddened too. There was very little protection or options for most of those people.

Hi Sir Janton..
It was a sad one indeed but a wake up call at the same time

Very true and much needed. People say they want the truth but they don't want to hear THAT truth very much!
