GOD OR MONEY
Evening Devotion
Matthew 6:24 ( NLT )
" No one can serve two masters, for you will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. "
Insight:
No one can serve two masters, God or money for they will hate each other. Money is one of the most effective weapon of the evil one to serve Him. Knowing God is the source of all things on earth, then we should serve God cause money comes from God alone.
As a reminder for us:
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:10-12 ( N I V )

Good message, good reminder!
But the church today is rooted in money making! Money is the reason for ministry!
To run a church today, you need anointing-10%, money 90% then the church will command respect, influx and influence.
If your message is just about holiness, righteousness, godly standards, purity, second coming of the Lord and you don't talk about the God who gives riches, cars, miracles, and deliverance, nobody will attend your church in our part of the world here.
Church is for money and we worship the god of money now!
