A real understanding of this scripture means alot.
If christ bore our sins on the cross, then why do so called christians still live and dwell in sin?
Why do people still dwell in sickness?
Christ paid all these on the cross of calvary.
whenever you are sick, down with one thing or the other, just say to your self "Christ has paid all these on the cross for me".

Yes, Christ paid for all of these things but there is still sin in this world because we live in a fallen realm. We have to remember that we are not part of this world. "Do not conform to the patterns of this world."
