LAYING HOLD ON YOUR BLESSING

Blessed be the Lord and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.
Ephesians 1:3

Imagine walking through town and noticing a pair of shoes you'd really like to buy. You have the money in your account but not on you at the moment. Until you get your hands on the cash, you might not be able purchase it. This however does not change the fact that the money in the account is yours.
In the same way, the Lord has blessed us with every blessing possible; the healing, provision, wisdom, just name it. And nothing and no one can change that. Yet it is when we enter into prayer that we lay a hold of these things. James 5:16 says the prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available. To be available is to be at hand; ready to be used and utilized.
Aside the above, whenever in prayer we lay a hold on whatever God has promised us, it creates in us a knowing; a faith that appropriates in our life what has been apportioned in his word. So continue to pray and and the blessings of God will be more than just a piece of information to you. It will be a reality.

LIFE APPLICATION
Carry God's word concerning your need into prayer and pray till you lay a hold on that truth.

PRAYER
Father, thank you for every spiritual blessing you've made available for me in Christ Jesus. I declare I walk in them in Jesus name.
