The Peace of God (Part 2)

Stop trusting in human beings, they are not infallible. Have you not noticed that widows often find themselves sleeping with their husband's friend or brother within 6 months of their husband's death? Not because they are women of easy virtue or lose morals but because they trusted those men in their moments of vulnerability. Ladies, when you are going through storms, don't rest your head on the shoulder of a man or else you will end up on a bed, doing what you never would have done. Rest your head on God's shoulder only; He would never mislead you nor would he take advantage of you.

Lean on His promises. (But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed - Isaiah 53:5). He paid the price for us to be at peace. When there is a storm, look to the cross, look to Jesus who died for your sins. They that know their God will stand and do exploits. (For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. - Colossians 1:19‭-‬20). Your peace is your confidence that He's got your back because He makes every single thing work together for you (And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. - Romans 8:28) Awesome! There is purpose in your afflictions (For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory - II Corinthians 4:17). Don't let the enemy confuse you. Every stage or situation of your life works together to make you who you are and who you'll be.

Jesus is the center and origin of our peace (For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace - Ephesians 2:14‭-‬15). Except you are anchored on Christ, you would lose faith in the craziness of a world where fathers rape their sons and where people kill other people for money. Women, a rich man whether husband or boyfriend, cannot give you peace. They can only give you material things, never peace. Are you a man or woman that seeks peace with other people around you? If you have lost your peace, read these scriptures, meditate on them and ask God for peace all over again (Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6‭-‬7)
